Overview

We met in the early hours of a beautiful spring morning to review this bundle of goodness. We absolutely love the atmosphere this quaint little burrito joint has to offer. Operating out of a stationary food truck in Golden, they serve an incredible burrito that we just had to share with the world!

Detailed Breakdown

1Tortilla

10/10

We love this tortilla. You can truly tell it's handmade and that real thought went into its creation. Toasted and flaky yet flexible, with incredible flavor and texture in a playful, delightful way. And it had folds in all the right places - it never broke on us.

2Use of Potatoes

9/10

Bonfire uses hash browns for their potatoes. We love this variation from the norm - and that they didn't overload the burrito. Because it was mixed so well, there were no overly large chunks of hash brown, which was very nice. The hash browns were soft and blended right in with everything else.

3Texture

10/10

The contents of Bonfire's burrito are impeccable. The eggs were fluffy and fresh, and the roasted peppers added to the flavor and texture in an amazing way. There were also caramelized onions that brought a crunch we believe can't be overlooked. Everything was well blended, and the chorizo chucks were spread out nicely.

4Flavor

10/10

This burrito had the trifecta of flavor. The eggs, meat, and chilis were perfectly balanced and made for an incredible experience. Every bite held the goodness of a perfectly roasted chili alongside a wonderful mix of eggs and meat. We settled on the 50/50 heat mix for ours, and it was perfect.

5General

10/10

We love Bonfire Burritos. If you're in the Denver area, it's a must-stop to try what we consider one of the best breakfast burritos in the greater Denver area.
