1. User Accounts

While you can browse Burritista without an account, certain features — such as submitting reviews — require registration. If you choose to create an account, you agree to the following rules:

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration (including a valid email address).
  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your account credentials with anyone else.
  • One Account Per Person: You may only register for one active Burritista account.

2. User-Generated Content

Burritista is a community guide powered by user submissions. When the review feature is enabled, you may submit restaurant reviews, ratings, and optional photos ("Content").

  • You Keep Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the Content you submit.
  • License to Burritista: By submitting Content, you grant Burritista a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, modify (for formatting or technical purposes), and remove your Content across the Site.
  • Your Right to Post: You warrant that you have the right to post the Content you submit. For example, you must be the original creator of any photos you upload, and your submissions must not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

3. Moderation

We want to ensure Burritista remains a helpful and trustworthy resource. To achieve this:

  • All user-submitted reviews are held for approval by site staff before they are published.
  • Site administrators also write and approve reviews directly.
  • We reserve the right to edit, remove, or completely refuse to publish any Content at our sole discretion, for any reason, without any obligation to provide an explanation or notice to the submitter.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Burritista only for lawful purposes. You strictly agree NOT to:

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, restaurant owners, or our staff.
  • Post spam, promotional material, or fake reviews (whether positive or negative).
  • Impersonate any person, business, or entity.
  • Engage in unauthorized data scraping, automated bot abuse, or any activity that overburdens our infrastructure.
  • Post any illegal, explicit, or highly offensive content.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the Site is at your own risk. The Site is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or quality of any restaurant or food item listed on this Site. 6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Burritista, its owner, and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Site; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Site; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
